1. Aim: To help Ss practise with the correct form of the past simple.

– Have Ss do the task individually and then compare their answers in pairs.

– Tell Ss that when they do the multiple choice questions, they should first read the sentences (stems) and the options carefully. Then they should choose the answer that they think is correct by eliminating the wrong answer. Then they get the most likely correct answer.

– Check and confirm Ss’ answers.
